North Shore surfers benefit from small northwest swell

Advertiser Staff

A small northwest swell is arriving today and will linger into tomorrow.

Translation: Expect surf in the 3- to 6-foot range along the north shores, the National Weather Service said.

Today's surf forecast also calls for 2- to 4-foot surf along east and west shores and 1- to 3-foot surf along the south shores.

Small to moderate northerly swells are expected tomorrow night and through Monday.

Also, a small south swell will bring a slight increase to the south shores tonight through Saturday.
