City to put up Christmas tree this morning

If this is the year you absolutely, positively refuse to be late with your Christmas cards and shopping, today may be the day to start revving up your holiday cheer.Too early? Thanksgiving isn't even here yet? Too humid for Christmas cheer?
Don't blame us — we're just following the city's lead.
Proving it's never too early for holidays, the city will be installing its Christmas tree at the Honolulu Hale at 10 a.m. today.
Take it as a sign the holiday season has arrived and that it's time to cracking on those Christmas cards.
