Fitch gives UH bonds an 'A+' rating

Fitch Ratings assigned an "A+" rating to a University of Hawai'i $100 million revenue bond issue, series 2006A.The revenue bonds are expected to be issued this month, Fitch said in a news release. It said the rating was based on UH's dominant market position among colleges in the state and its low debt burden.
It also affirmed an A+ rating for UH's 2002A and 2006A bonds
