Expect heavy traffic through Pearl City, 'Aiea

Eastbound taffic is backing up near the Makakilo offramp in Kapolei as of 6:15 a.m. The morning commute had started smooth, but has quickly slowed through the H-1/H-2 merge, Pearl City and 'Aiea.A traffic signal problem was reported to the Honolulu Police Department Traffic Information Center at 6:01 a.m. At Kapiolani and McCully Street, which could also make for slow driving in town.
