Accident at Harano Tunnel slows H-3 commuters

A four-car accident at the Harano tunnel's eastbound lanes has backed up traffic on the H-3, and traffic into town has slowed to a crawl in all directions.Traffic is backed up past the Waikele Shopping Center at the H-1/H2 merge and is bumper to bumper through Pearl City and 'Aiea. The commute is also extremely heavy through the Middle Street merge, and Ewa-bound traffic from Hawaii Kai into town is backed up to the Koko Head overpass.
If you're planning a commute into town, you may want to leave a few minutes early.
