Royal Hawaiian Band to have company today

The Royal Hawaiian Band will be getting a little help when it plays at the Iolani Palace from noon to 1 p.m. today.As part of its participation in the Hawai'i Catholic Schools Band, St. Francis School students will play alongside the Royal Hawaiian Band in a special performance.
The Catholic School Band consists of students from Saint Francis, School, Holy Family Academy Damien Memorial School, Saint Louis School and Maryknoll. Music director David Gonzales will join Royal Hawaiian Band director Michael Nakasone in conducting the bands.
