Surf on the rise on the North Shore

Advertiser Staff

While Waikiki surfers and other south-shore surfers will enjoy surf in the 2- to 4-foot range today, northern shores will see surf 5 to 7 feet, the National Weather Service said.

Surf all around the island should be good today, the Weather Service said, with east and west shores also seeing 2- to 4-footers.

The forecast for the next few days calls for a series of northerly swells, the largest bringing advisory level surf heights to north shores Monday and Tuesday.

A series of small southerly swells will maintain small surf along south facing shores through the period.
