Hawaii women open basketball season with win

Hawaii tipped off its women's basketball season with a 69-58 victory over Georgetown Friday night in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic at the Stan Sheriff Center.Pam Tambini scored 16 points and Brittany Grice added 15 for the Rainbow Wahine. Shanice Fuller scored 12 points for the 0-2 Hoyas.
Hawaii plays No. 3 Oklahoma Saturday at 3 p.m.
