The after-hours party known as Perpetual Groove presents DJ Thee-O from Los Angeles in a two-hour set tonight at Galaxy, 1739 Kalakaua Ave.

Thee-O's early love of music was leading him toward training in opera — until he attended his first rave in 1992. Since then, he has become one of Los Angeles' leading and hardest-working dance DJs, acclaimed for mixing and scratching and especially electronica. Other DJs taking spins tonight include G-Spot, IKON, Quiksilva, Big Daddy Dave and SovernT.

It's a rave for all ages. Hours are from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Admission is $12 at the door. 591-3500.
