North Shore surf may hit 12 feet today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along O'ahu's North Shore today should start out at 6 to 10 feet, then build to 8 to 12 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere today, surf is expected to reach 2 to 4 feet along west- and south-facing shores, and 3 to 6 feet along east-facing shores.

The longer-term forecast calls for north swells to continue rolling in through Friday, boosting surf on the North Shore close to the 15-foot advisory level tomorrow and Tuesday.

A series of small south swells is projected to continue through Friday as well.
