Trade winds due back in town today
Advertiser Staff
Finally! The trade winds are due to make a return today, according to the National Weather Service.
But don't get your hopes up too high that refreshing trades will make the miserably muggy weather of the past week or so only a memory.
The trades will be no stronger than moderate throughout the next seven days, forecasters said.
Rainfall is expected to be on the sparse side, at least through midweek, when a weakened front northeast of the Islands may enhance the showers from Wednesday and beyond.
Here's a closer look at what's in store for the next several days:
Today, partly cloudy with isolated showers. Highs around 82. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
Tonight, partly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows around 69. Northeast winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
Tomorrow, partly cloudy with scattered showers. Highs around 82. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.
