Sela wins Honolulu Futures USTA Pro Circuit event

Top seed Dudi Sela of Israel rolled over Fritz Wolmarans of South Africa, 6-3, 6-3, yesterday to capture the Honolulu Futures USTA Pro Circuit event at the University of Hawai'i Tennis Complex."I'm just happy to get through the tough matches," Sela said. "It is a good feeling to play in the finals."
With the victory, Sela earned $1,950 and 18 ranking points.
"It's the points that I'm really happy to get," he said. "These points will help raise my ranking for next season."
Wolmarans, who earned $1,350 and 12 ranking points, teamed with Aleksandar Vlaski of Serbia & Montenegro, to win the doubles title, 6-4, 6-2, over Vahid Mirzadeh and Brett Ross of the United States.
