Light trade winds sticking around this week

Advertiser Staff

Light to moderate trade winds should prevail most of the week with clouds and showers expected at times, the National Weather Service said.

Today, a high surf advisory is in effect until 12 p.m.

Expect partly cloudy skies with scattered showers, highs 76 to 81 degrees and winds out of the east 10 to 15 mph. There is a 50 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow calls for mostly cloudy skies with showers likely and much of the same weather through Wednesday night.

By Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, the chance of rain will dip from 70 percent to 50 percent. Trade winds should continue at 10 to 15 mph throughout the work week.
