Holiday shortens road work this week

No roadwork is scheduled Thursday through Sunday in observance of the Thanksgiving Day holiday weekend.Today, however, there are several projects that could slow your commute:
Nimitz Highway preventative maintenance continues
Lanes may be closed in both directions on Nimitz Highway from Waiakamilo Street to the Ke'ehi Interchange through Wednesday morning between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for resurfacing work.
Likelike Highway improvements
Lanes may be closed along Likelike Highway between Valley View Drive and the Wilson Tunnel at the following locations for guardrail installation, shoulder paving and roadway striping through Wednesday.
H-1 work near Middle Street Tunnel
Right and shoulder lanes may be closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions near the Middle Street tunnel through Tuesday during the following hours, for guardrail and shoulder improvements:
Kane'ohe-bound Wilson Tunnel lane closed
The right lane of the Kane'ohe-bound Wilson Tunnel on the Likelike Highway will be closed Monday between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for the replacement of lane marker buttons.
Pali Highway guardrail work continues
Shoulder lanes may be closed on the Pali Highway near Waokanaka Street on Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for emergency guardrail repairs.
Farrington work goes on
Lanes may be closed on Farrington Highway in Waipahu through Wednesday for these locations and times:
Eastbound (8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Westbound (7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
Safety improvements continue on Farrington
Right lanes may be closed westbound on Farrington Highway between Hakimo and Kaukama roads through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The right lane will be closed for improvements to a concrete channel wall and the installation of a chain-link fence.
Kamehameha resurfacing in Kane'ohe
Lanes may be closed in both directions on Kamehameha Highway between Pali Highway and Kahiko Street through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road resurfacing.
Kalaniana'ole lane closed at Castle Junction
The right turn lane from Kalaniana'ole Highway onto Kamehameha Highway (Kane'ohe-bound) at Castle Junction will be closed through Wednesday between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. for electrical work and guardrail installation.
Pu'uloa Road work underway
Lanes may be closed on Pu'uloa Road from Kamehameha Highway to Salt Lake Boulevard through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at these locations:
Kamehameha lane closed near Pearl Harbor
The right lane may be closed on Kamehameha Highway (outbound) between Radford Drive and Halawa Drive through Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for bike lane construction, concrete barrier removal and concrete pouring.
Kamehameha work near Crouching Lion
Lanes may be closed on Kamehameha Highway between Waiahole Valley Road and Crouching Lion Inn through Wednesday for pavement marking, sign installation and guardrail work.
Halawa Heights Road project continues
Lanes may be closed on Halawa Heights Road between Ulune Street and Fernridge Place in the vicinity of Camp Smith through Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for striping, lane marking and sign installation.
Ala Moana Boulevard closures
Left lanes may be closed in both directions on Ala Moana Boulevard from Pi'ikoi Street to Atkinson Drive through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for median landscaping and traffic signal adjustments.
'Aiea Access Road guardrails being installed
Shoulder lanes may be closed on 'Aiea Access Road in both directions from Moanalua Road to Kamehameha Highway through Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for guardrail installation. During these hours, the shoulder lane on the southeast ramp may also be closed.
