Help sought in finding sexual predator

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a male wanted for first degree sexual assault that occurred fronting 442 Kalaimoku St.

On Friday, between 3 and 3:15 a.m., a 23-year-old female was unlocking her parked vehicle, when she was approached from behind by an unknown male.

The male pushed her into the vehicle and sexually assaulted her. The victim was able to fight off the male after a brief struggle. The suspect then fled on foot with the victim in pursuit. Witnesses in the area helped the victim and were able to provide a description of the suspect.

Suspect: Unknown male

Race: Polynesian

Age: Late 20s

Hair: Black

Clothing: Gray T-shirt
