Lam is responsible for counter retail services and the daily posting of more than 1,500 pieces of mail to 424 post office boxes. He previously served as a window clerk at the Kaunakakai Post Office for eight years.

Cummins "Bo" Mahoe, a 20-year postal employee, was named Kaunakakai postmaster in January 2005. He oversees the delivery of 15,000 pieces of mail daily to more than 2,000 addresses and 1,800 post office boxes.
