Fugitive charged with auto theft

Advertiser Staff

A fugitive wanted on warrants totalling $105,000 was charged yesterday with auto theft.

Wade K. Martin, 38, was arrested Sunday at 235 Lili'uokalani Ave. in Waikiki after police received an anonymous tip about a stolen car. In addition to auto theft, Martin was booked on suspicion of third-degree promotion of dangerous drugs, unauthorized possession of personal and confidential information, and theft of credit cards.

He was charged, however, only with the auto theft. Martin's bail is $75,000.
