Rainbow Wahine reach WAC final vs. New Mexico St.

Jamie Houston had 25 kills and Kanoe Kamana'o 50 assists to lead the University of Hawaii to victory over San Jose State in a semifinal match Thursday of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament in Reno, Nev.

The scores were 30-26, 30-27, 30-24.

The top-seeded Rainbow Wahine (25-5) will play New Mexico State (33-2) Friday for the WAC Tournament title.

Sarah Mason added 16 kills for UH.

New Mexico State defeated Idaho in the other semifinal today, 30-19, 30-19, 30-13.
