Great weather on tap for Thanksgiving Day

A high pressure system will provide light to moderate trade winds over the next several days, the National Weather Service said, with more showery weather than normal over the windward and mauka areas.

In other words, great weather is on tap for your Thanksgiving Day celebrations. Highs should hit 78 today with eastern winds 10 to 15 mph and a 50 percent chance of rain. Tonight, expect more of the same with temperatures 63 to 70 degrees.

Tomorrow, when the shoppers are out in full force, expect partly cloudy skies with scattered showers, highs 76 to 81 and east winds 10 to 15 mph.

Saturday calls for partly cloudy with scattered showers, highs 76 to 82 and east winds 10 to 15 mph.
