Karate Championships set for tomorrow

The Honolulu International Karate Championships will run tomorrow at Manoa District Park, building No. 2, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be more than 1,000 competitors competing in different age groups and levels. Competitors range in age from 6 to 50 and the levels go from white belt to black belt advanced.

Three world champions from Hawai'i, Elisa Au, Shannon Nishi and George Kotaka, will compete in special divisions.

Admission to the event is $5.
