The largest crowd of the University of Hawai'i football season is expected for tonight's game against Purdue at Aloha Stadium.

As of yesterday afternoon, 42,700 tickets had been sold for the 6:05 game, according to John McNamara, UH associate athletic director for external affairs

"We're thrilled with ticket sales thus far, and looking forward to a great crowd at Aloha Stadium," McNamara said.

Despite a record-setting offense, UH football hasn't drawn more than 30,000 (turnstile count) to any of its previous six games this season.

The Warriors are 9-2 overall and 7-1 in the Western Athletic Conference.
