Warriors rise to 23rd in coaches poll, 24th in AP poll

The University of Hawai'i football team moved up one spot in the AP Top 25 college football poll and two positions in the USA Today poll Sunday.

UH is 24th in the AP poll of sportswriters and sportscasters and 23rd in the USA Today coaches poll.

The 10-2 Warriors defeated Purdue, 42-35, Saturday and play Oregon State this week in their regular season finale. Oregon State is among those receiving votes in both polls.

The Beavers would be 27th in the AP poll based on points and 28th in the USA Today poll.

WAC Champion Boise State moved up to 10th in the AP poll and ninth in the USA Today poll. Ohio State is No. 1 in both polls.
