Warriors, Brennan dominate NCAA statistics

Quarterback Colt Brennan and the University of Hawai'i football team Sunday continued to lead the nation in several NCAA Division I-A statistical categories.

Brennan is tops in the nation in passing efficiency (186.68 rating) and total offense (410.75 yards per game). He also leads the nation in passing yards with 4,589 and points responsible for (340).

(Passing efficiency ratings are based on passes attempted and completed, yards, passes for touchdowns and interceptions.)

Brennan is three TD passes away from matching the single season mark of 54 set by Houston's David Klingler in 1990.

The Warriors (10-2) are No. 1 in passing offense (434.83 yards per game), total offense (553.75 yards per game) and scoring offense (48.58 points per game).

UH receiver Davone Bess is 8th in the nation in receptions per game (6.75) and 13th in receiving yards per game (86.58).
