Military identifies third Kane'ohe Marine killed in Iraq

The Department of Defense today identified a third Kane'ohe Bay Marine killed last week in Iraq.

The military previously had identified two other Marines killed Wednesday.

Lance Cpl. James R. Davenport, 20, of Danville, Ind., died while conducting combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, Kane'ohe Bay, Hawai'i.

Lance Cpl. Joshua C. Alonzo, 21, of Dumas, Texas, and Pfc. Heath Warner, 19, of Canton, Ohio, also died during combat operations. The Marines were reportedly traveling in a Humvee that was struck by a roadside bomb.
