UH's Houston is WAC volleyball player of week

Hawai'i's Jamie Houston was named the Western Athletic Conference volleyball player of the week today for helping lead the Rainbow Wahine to the WAC Tournament title.Houston, a sophomore left side hitter, averaged 5.7 kills and 2.3 digs per game and hit .290 while earning most valuable player honors in the tournament.
It is the third time Houston has been named a player of the week this season.
