Police Beat: 4 females allegedly beat, robbed woman

Four women allegedly forced a 34-year-old woman into their vehicle in the Wai'anae area at about 11 last night, drove her to a remote area and beat and robbed her, police said.

The woman suffered face and neck injuries. One of the attackers wielded a knife, police said, and the woman said she knew one of the attackers.

Argument involving handgun and knife leads to arrest

An argument involving a handgun and a knife led Honolulu police to arrest a 34-year-old man near Wilikina Drive early this morning.

The man, who reportedly left the scene of the argument in a white Mercedes-Benz, was later apprehended by police just before 1 a.m. with a loaded and cocked .357-caliber handgun and a glass pipe containing white residue, police said.

He was arrested on suspicion of firearms and drug offenses.

Boyfriend arrested in attempted strangling incidents

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly abusing a family member after police said he twice tried to strangle his 27-year-old girlfriend. One incident occurred Friday. During the second incident, which occurred last night, the man reportedly also hit the woman with a chair. The alleged attacks began as arguments on Kauiki Street in 'Ewa Beach, police said.

Woman files sexual assault complaint

A 26-year-old woman awoke early Saturday morning from a night of drinking at a Waipahu home to find her clothing removed, leading her to file a sexual assault complaint.

The woman told police that she passed out while drinking with a man she described as being his 20s to 30s. She told police that she believed she had been sexually assaulted while she was unconscious.
