Traffic backs up through Pearl City

Traffic through Pearl City is agonizingly slow as of 6 a.m., with traffic backed up to the Waikele Shopping Center and packed through the H-1/H-2 merge.It lightens a bit through 'Aiea, but is starting to slow through the Middle Street merge and Liliha.
As of 6 a.m., however, other main arteries into town are flowing smoothly.
