'Dog' and Beth on Larry King tonight

Advertiser Staff

Bounty Hunter fans, here's your chance to get the latest scoop on Duane "Dog" Chapman's possible extradition to Mexico.

'Dog,' along with Beth Chapman, and their attorney, William Bollard, will be on the Larry King Live show on CNN at 4 p.m. today to discuss the latest happenings on the Andrew Luster case and the bounty hunter's extradition case in Mexico.

The Chapmans will be discussing Luster's capture and how it has affected their lives, the success of their top-rated A&E reality show, and the legal hurdles they have faced in the current extradition case.

Bollard will be representing Duane, Tim and Leland Chapman at an extradition hearing in Mexico on Monday.

The trio made national headlines on Sept. 14 when U.S. Marshalls arrested them at their homes on charges of illegal detention and conspiracy in the June 18, 2003, capture of Luster, a cosmetics heir.

The three spent one night in the Federal Detention Center in Honolulu, and were released after posting bail.

Following their arrest, fans of the Bounty Hunter TV show set up Web sites showing support and urging the Mexican government to "free the three." The Chapmans appeared on Larry King's show following their arrest, and had an A&E special made about the night they were taken into custody and the history of the Luster case.

The Mexican federal courts will hear all of the evidence gathered by Bollard's team at the Constitutional Hearing beginning on Monday in Guadalajara.

The district court will have to decide whether the charges against the Chapmans should be dismissed or whether the extradition case should proceed further.
