Scattered showers, cooler north winds forecast

Advertiser Staff

A weak cold front will move through the islands late today and tonight, bringing with it scattered showers and cooler north winds, the National Weather Service said.

Drier weather will follow, followed by some increase in clouds and showers over the weekend, particularly over the windward and mauka areas.

Today's forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with scattered showers, highs 71 to 78 and northeast winds 10 to 15 mph with a 50 percent chance of rain.

Tomorrow, expect scattered showers in the morning and isolated showers in the afternoon with highs 70 to 77 and northeast winds around 10 mph.
