About 48,700 tickets sold for UH-Oregon St. game

Advertiser Staff

Fewer than 1,300 tickets remained available for Saturday's University of Hawai'i-Oregon State football game at Aloha Stadium, according to UH.

John McNamara, UH associate athletic director, said about 48,700 tickets had been sold or issued for the 50,000-seat facility when the box offices at Aloha Stadium and Stan Sheriff Center closed for business today.

Tickets also are being sold online at www.hawaiiathletics.com.

UH has not had a sellout since the 2005 season opener against then-defending national champion Southern California.
