Man pulled from water near Sand Island identified

A 47-year-old man who was pulled from the waters near Sand Island Parkway yesterday was identified as William Joseph Hyden of Waipahu, city medical examiner's office personnel said this morning.Hyden was taken to Kaiser Moanalua Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
An autopsy is scheduled for later today.
