U.S., state flags to fly at half-staff for Pearl Harbor Day

Gov. Linda Lingle has proclaimed next Thursday as "Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day" in Hawai'i to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The U.S. and Hawai'i flags will be displayed at half-staff from sunrise to sunset that day.

Various events are being held locally from Sunday through Thursday.
