Water main break closes Holy Family, Assets School

There will be no classes today at Holy Family Catholic Academy and Assets School because of a water main break, school officials said this morning.Nearby Nimitz Elementary School, however, is open today.
The break occurred on military land near Valkenburg Street and Main Street, just off Nimitz Highway, near Honolulu International Airport.
School officials said there is no water at the school because of the break, and parents and students should check back later in the day to see if classes will be able to resume Friday. The schools have been told that repairs may be completed as early as 9 a.m. today.
