Where's Colt? Not on any Rivals.com or All-America team

Advertiser Staff

Despite leading the nation in numerous passing statistics, University of Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan was not named to one of the three All-America teams by Rivals.com.

Ohio State's Troy Smith was named to the first team, Notre Dame's Brady Quinn to the second team, and Michigan's Chad Henne was a third-team selection.

Brennan is one of three finalists for the Davey O'Brien award for the nation's top quarterback, a finalist for the Walter Camp award for the nation's player of the year, and one of 11 finalists for the Manning award.

Brennan, who leads the nation in passing efficiency, points responsible for, touchdown passes, also was not included on the All-American team for the American Football Coaches Association. The AFCA chose Smith as the quarterback for its team.
