Hang glider seriously injured

A 44-year-old man fell 35 feet in a hang-glider accident today in Makapu'u near Sea Life Park.The man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center with critical injuries but his condition has been upgraded to serious, said city Emergency Services Department spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
The accident occurred at 3:15 p.m.
