Surf drops to 3 feet — at best — on North Shore

Advertiser Staff

It was fun while it lasted, but the surf along the North Shore is expected to decline and to hit no more than 3 feet today after a weekend full of sizable rides.

Some smaller north-northwest swells are due in on Friday, but nothing else is on the horizon at this time.

Today, the National Weather Service says to look for surf of 1 to 3 feet along east-facing coasts, 3 feet or less along south-facing shores and 1 to 3 feet along west-facing shorelines.
