Kaua'i could see thunderstorms today

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms today over portions of Ni'ihau and Kaua'i.An upper-level low-pressure system to the northwest of Kaua'i moved closer overnight and could bring the shower activity over Kaua'i some time today, according to the National Weather Service.
A line of thunderstorms currently extends from the southwest to the northwest of Kaua'i, forecasters said.
The same storm system will likely carry high clouds over all islands today.
