Accidents slow town-bound traffic on H-1

Advertiser Staff

A couple of earlier stalls and a fender-bender are keeping town-bound traffic on the H-1 Freeway slow this morning through the Pearl City and 'Aiea corridor.

Traffic at this hour slows at the usual bottlenecks, including the H-1/H-2 merge and again at the Middle Street merge.

The drive in from Hawaii Kai is going well, although traffic begins to back up in the university area.

There are no problems heading in from Windward O'ahu at this time.

TRAFFIC ALERT: Repairs to a broken water main are slowing traffic in and arround the area of Halekauwila and South streets.
