Surf on north shores building to 3 to 6 feet

Look for surf along O'ahu's north-facing shores to build today, reaching 3 to 6 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf along west-facing shores is also expected to climb a bit today, reaching 2 to 4 feet by this afternoon.

The surf along eastern shores is expected to hold stead at about 3 to 4 feet while surf along south facing shores will be 2 feet or less through today.

A series of small to moderate size northwest swells will continue heading in our direction at least through Monday.
