Maui man critically injured in crash

A 23-year-old Kula man was critically injured today after a single-car crash on Kula Highway in Pukalani, Maui.Maui police said Mitchell Sarol-Silva was traveling in a white Ford Ranger on Kula Highway about 3:31 a.m. when he lost control on a downhill straightaway, hit a road sign and overturned.
Sarol-Silva was ejected from the vehicle.
Police said he was taken to the Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Speed and alcohol are possible factors in the crash, police said.
