Kauai dirt biker hurt in accident

A dirt bike rider remains in stable condition at Kaua'i Veterans Memorial Hospital after clipping a vehicle on Kôke'e Road this afternoon.According to police, the motorcyclist was riding down Kôke'e Road between mile marker eight and nine at around 1 pm when he lost control of the bike, crossed the centerline, clipped a Toyota 4Runner going in the opposite direction, and then put the bike down.
The dirt bike rider suffered head injuries. The woman driver of the SUV was not injured.
