Flash flood warning to expire soon

The National Weather Service is expected to cancel its flash flood warning for the North Shore of Oahu within the hour, although showers are expected throughout the night.The area saw heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms earlier this afternoon, although no reports of major damage were received. By 3 p.m., the rains had weakened.
Most of the rain hit north of Haleiwa, and in Kahuku and Laie, with some heavy showers in Hauula, according to the National Weather Service.
Oahu Civil Defense said it received no reports of problems due to rain.
