Ex-UH player McBriar ranks No. 1 in NFL punting

Former University of Hawai'i punter Mat McBriar ranks No. 1 in punting, according to NFL statistics released today.McBriar, who punts for the Dallas Cowboys, is averaging 50.7 yards per punt on 19 attempts.
McBriar was a Western Athletic Conference first-team selection in 2002.
Another former UH player, Jason Elam, ranks No. 10 in scoring by kickers in the American Football Conference.
Elam, a long-time Denver Broncos kicker who played for UH from 1989-1992, has hit 7 of 8 field-goal attempts and has 49 points.
