Power loss causing problems at DOH building

The building housing the state departments of health and public safety has lost power, causing a normal transactions to be disrupted until the building's transformer can be replaced.Employees who work at the building at 919 Ala Moana Blvd. will not have access to mail, e-mail or voicemail messages and meetings scheduled for today and tomorrow will not be held, state officials said.
Employees do have telephone service, however, and people with appointments should try to reschedule.
