BYU-Hawaii beats Chaminade in Pacific West volleyball

Tuli Peters had 20 kills and eight digs as Brigham Young-Hawaii beat Chaminade, 30-21, 30-24, 30-22, Tuesday night in a Pacific West Conference match at McCabe Gym.

The Seasiders, ranked No. 9 in the latest CSTV/AVCA Division II coaches top 25 poll, improved to 14-0 and 10-0.

Chaminade, which had won six in a row, dropped to 12-4 and 7-2.

Noelle Filimoeatu and Roseanne Vea each added 12 kills for BYU-Hawai'i, which hit .379 for the match.

LeeAnn Mapu had 53 assists and four of the Seasiders' 11 aces.
