Air traffic to temporarily increase over Ewa Plains

Ewa Plains residents may see an increase in aircraft traffic for the next two weeks while the state Department of Transportation does maintenance at the Honolulu International Airport.The work will require closing one runway from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. from tonight through Friday and again starting Sunday through Oct. 20 to install an airfield sign.
