Man floating face down in waters off Waikiki revived

A 34-year-old man was reported to be in serious condition this morning at Straub Clinic and hospital after he was found floating face down in waters off Kuhio Beach Park in Waikiki.Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Department of Emergency Services, said the man was pulled ashore shortly before 7:50 a.m., and was given CPR by city lifeguards and firefighters who were able to restore breathing and a
pulse.
The incident happened on the stretch of beach between Paoakalani and Kapahulu avenues.
