BeachBoys shut out CaneFires 6-0

Eric Young Jr. went 3 for 5, including a double, and scored twice as the Waikiki BeachBoys beat the West Oahu CaneFires, 6-0, last night in a Hawaii Winter Baseball game at Hans L'Orange Park.Nate Schierholtz had two RBIs, hitting a two-run single in the BeachBoys' four-run third inning.
Atsushi Nohmi (1-0), the second pitcher for the BeachBoys, earned the win, going four innings. The left-hander gave up two hits, while striking out three and walking two.
Yasunari Takagi (0-1) took the loss for the CaneFires, lasting three innings and giving up nine hits and four runs (three earned).
