North Shore surf in the 5- to 8-foot range

Advertiser Staff

The best surf of the day on O'ahu will be found along north-facing shores, with some sets in the 5- to 8-foot range, according to the National Weather Service.

West-facing shores will see surf of 3 to 6 feet, while surf along east- and south-facing shores will be in the 1- to 3-foot range, according to forecasters.

The current northwest swell will be reinforced by a series of more westerly swells into the weekend. The magnitude of the swells will be moderate. The new work week will have swells from the north northwest with smaller magnitudes.
