Tourists attacked at Waimea Beach Park

Two tourists were assaulted today at Waimea Beach Park and police are looking for three suspects who fled in a dark sports utility vehicle.The assault happened about 10 a.m. Police could not immediately say what provoked the attack against the two men from the Mainland, a father and son.
The father was knocked unconscious and suffered a fractured jaw, fractured facial bone and lacerations to his head. The son sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Wahiawa General Hospital, and later released.
